The Chairman of Edo Petroleum and Gas Monitoring Committee who claims
to work for the Edo State government Chris
Okaeben has been accused of attempted
murder ,kidnapping and assassination .The accused and his gang attempted to assassinate
the elder brother of a renowned Television broadcaster (name withheld) last
night in Benin,Edo State according to CKN Nigeria investigation,.
After beating his victim to a stupor and left him dead, the man
was rushed to a hospital at Ikpoba hill area of Benin only for the Chris Okaeben
to send his boys to go and finish the “unfinished” business.
But the family of the man got wind of the attempt and relocated
him to another hospital where he is currently recuperating. He was placed on
oxygen due to the extent of injury inflicted on him.
Mr Okaeben also seized the
car key as well as phones of his victim. The case has been reported to the Edo
State police command but Mr Chris Okaeben according to report says he is untouchable.
He is believed to be a
top member of Adams Oshiomhole’s kitchen cabinet as well as the ruling party in
the State.
The ruthless man has become a demi god of a sort in the State , whose
words must be obeyed and is using state apparatus to maim perceived enemies..
All attempts by CKN Nigeria to speak to any official of the
State government as well as the State police command has been unsuccessful

For the records can there be a reaction without an action? Can anyone tell me d job description and line of authority between an ED & an SSA .
