Picture Of The So Called Ibadan "Mermaid" Is A Fuse

Yesterday we brought you a story that practically brought the ancient city of Ibadan to a stand still. This woman alleged that one of her frozen fishes turned into a mermaid..The story gained so much ground and made the front page of practically all the newspapers..Well,we have learnt that the so called mammy water was just a little octopus ..The object is shown in this picture..Naija and mysticism.

  5. There is a truth about CKN's publication, at least there was a cry that marmaid was seen. What do you expect from the less-schooled market women who never saw octopuses before.
But the first pix was actually fabricated and hence such should be discouraged.
There is a strong essential need to marry integrity with journalism. It is not only what was read but also what was seen that matters in publications.
If you do not have the pictures, don't talk about rain and put the desert as picture except they are related.
Don't talk about sorrows and then put the face of a smiling ass as pix. Picture no be by force. The main thing na news we need.
Thank you CKN for your daily news at least I no need de buy papers again. Just de give me good news. Abeg and good pictures before I forget.

  9. My people of sustance do not be decieved by this 2nd pix you are being shown here by our CKN news bcos firstly the father of the lady confirmed the true version of that news.2ndly the house address, name of market,an imam,Alfas n other notable figures were mentioned n 3rdly Police were called into this area of come n see America wonders in d acient city of Ibadan,and0 besides the woman gave a very vivid n clinical account as to how she bought a carton of fist in a frozen state n that she went for a cutlass to open the carton n went for Water in a bucket inorder to defroz the fist but only for her to see her hitato fist develop 2 hinds or legs.Haba?why the sudden change of events or news na oh good nigerians??? CKN!CKN!!CKN!!! I called u three times.please you seems to be the true Salt of journalism of our time so try not loos you salinity bcos if you do,U may not be able to get it back. Now go back to your table n print out all the true story about this half a fish half human.forget about whose guts you trampled. As for me, do you want me to mention my name? All we saw in Ibadan bby 11am was half fish, half human.I swear.look octopus is small n it looks like the earth worms so my 3year old kid knows what earthworm is.Octopus indeed!its only Nigeria 16 is biger than 19 so one will nolonger be amazed about this turn of events.God bless Nigeria

  12. See I also smell a rat here...cos d woman said she saw half human half fish....let's even assume she's just being a woman but she's not a kid na. Plus will her father also be seeing double??? Mind u before d father came out d lady already ran out n dis means d woman wasn't chanced to tell her dad what she saw so there was no way her statement would ve influenced his judgement abt wat he also saw...bsides dese people are fasting n dey won't lie no matter what during such fast. Some persons in other blogg swore they were there n saw half fish half human but wen dey tried to snap fones nt just one started breaking...I guess dt explains why there's no pics whatsoever of this fish n even if it was an octupus why wasn't it snaped in the ladys kitchen as she called people knowing hw addicted naija people are to snapping in any situation before taking necessary actions?? N for dose calling dem illitrate I believe u dnt have to go to d 4 walls of school to be able to know parts of fish or even human..hw much more legs....SO CKN I will advise u go in n do a thorough investigation n we will wait ur full n truthful uninfluenced report.
