12 yrs old girl getting married 2 an old man? This is child abuse. Why don't he marry one of his daughters instead. Stupid practice.
ReplyDeleteMind ur Ultrances. Islamic practices has its own value and norms. U are d one who is stupid bcos u no noti abt his religion. Isabella
DeleteYou're fasting and insulting. Can't u ever see somtin anti islamic for once and ignore like d christians do? May God have mercy on dis child abuse call marriage.12 yrs? Hm...
DeleteWhat kind of mother having carried a pregnancy n knowing the strength you need to make a marriage work, would give out her twelve year old child, who still needs to be looked ater in marriage?if islamic custodians can not see or care what happens to their children,Nigeria does and cares about her own. Yerima should have been ashamed to speak, what kind of old man gets sexually attracted to his grand daughter?how many of his daughters did not get educated and was given in marriage at 12?in my opinion that marriage should have gotten him out of the house.
DeleteI love this.muslims be patient
ReplyDeleteIt can only be enforced on d ground wen d girl is harrased. If am a girl of abt 16yrs nd I saw whom I like I decided to marry, nobody or law will hold m bak. It is jst to encourage young teen nd to put a stop to child abuse for those who care.
ReplyDeleteDoes this law affect girls only or both sexes? CKN let's get the details please.
ReplyDeleteHere, I think is for both sexes, if d law pegg marriage age to 18ys, I think is for both. My question is about d superimacy of law oF the d land and religious laws, whiCh is more potent in regards to citizenry?
DeleteAs long as the country accepts diverse religion, the law of the land is supreme.
DeleteHe want to get married to a 12 old girl bcs he have made so much money from nigeran polics. When he is in political positoins, he did nt travel to marry a 12 year old girl,he can do dat bcs he has D cash money rule D world.dis is bull shirt old man like dat.nonsense
ReplyDeleteLet's not add 2 what is said.a law is a law. 18 above finish
ReplyDeleteThere's Englisg law and nothin we can do 2 that, so far islamic has there laws so we need 2 come down and checkmate so dt every1 would be happy....
ReplyDeleteIt is better to marry 12-years old girl than becoming randy old man on the streets chasing after those cosmetics girls that begged for short time.
ReplyDeleteIslam has its own rule and regulation, ethics and vales that deal about each and every relationship. If you don't know about it, pls stop castigating us about our mode of living.
YES, it is better to use 12yrs old children to control and satisfy randy old men. Who instead of chasing cosmetic girls or maintaining their dignity should fondle the babes
DeleteSen Yarima! You are indeed the 2ru son of your parents, may Allah guide u & protect u anywhere you find your self. And for those muslims that refuses to fight agaist this so-call amendment done by this useless oldmen for nothing God is watching you & he will deal with you accordingly no to ways about it!!! For our christain brodas, you dnt have to judge wat u dnt have knowledge on, beside I didn't blame u, bcos even ur religion u couldn't interprete not to talk of u putting ur dirty mouth in2 someone religion.... Pls mind ur own language & say wat u know else....!!! Umar Brigade
ReplyDeleteOh! Foolish Umar...I wonder where your brain is hidden! I am a muslim like you, but I can't imagine giving my 12yrs old daughter in marriage in any guise be it religion, social ethics or what have you. We call ours a religion of freedom, but where is the freedom in condemning your 12yrs old dauhghter to a marriage she knows nothing about? As it stands today, it is we muslims that misinterpret and misunderstand the quran...bible I'd written in different languages and various versions, it is left to you to pick which one you understand and walk by it. Mind you, all our works will be tested in the end time. Be wise, bro Umar. Open your eyes.
DeleteWow, our rulers are at it again. For those talking on Islam and Chritianity; have they forgotten we have traditionalist too, are their veiws not important too?
ReplyDeleteCan someone ask Yerima, how many of his daughters, he gave out in marriage when they were 12yrs old to become baby wives and mothers rather than being educ and useful to the society?,
ReplyDeleteTwelve years old getting married ? This is slavery in disguise.but then U people should have known by Now that Muslims hailed from ishmalites who dosnt value life . So allow they To wallow in their mayopic kind of religion...kamzy
ReplyDeleteIf that guy is in his right sense', then it is worth investigating what h is using the little girl for. Could that be the requirement for servicing his altar of...
ReplyDeleteWe need to put religious apart and face reality, with the standard system of Nigeria education not this day private school model idea, a twelve[12]years old boy or girl should be writing primary school leaving certificate or entrance exam to secondary school and eighteen [18]years old will be awaiting admission into tertiary institution or 100 level student.
ReplyDeleteGoing by my analysis we could all see that 18 is far better than 12 because a girl or boy of 12 to 15years knows nothing about life; their reasoning and way of life is reflex. I:e "one way traffic". So; don't let us create a problem for our tomorrow leader, a married girl or boy of 12years has nothing to offer the society because at 20years she or He is nursing for 4 to 5 kids already and at 40years she or He will be grandparent,at 60years she will be great grandparent. My conclusion is that if Mr. Aliko dangote married at 12years old and will never be the among the solid rock of the world even okonjo therefore Mr. Yerima should teach moral and preach prosperity not abject poverty. Thanks.
