A group of lawyers in Addis Ababa finalized its preparations to sue Big Brother Africa’s 2013 contestant, Betty Abera for having séx in public.
According to a local radio show, Ethiopikalink, if she is convicted, Betty could potentially face up to six years behind bars.
Ethiopia’s Betty and Sierra Leon’s Bolt became the first couple to engage in a “séx act” in Big Brother Africa The Chase.
Social medias such as Facebook pages, including radio hosts in Ethiopia had been tirelessly condemning Betty’s very-open “hook up” on live television.

ReplyDeleteThe programme is rated 18 and participants should be over 21. When they signed contracts it states that there are cameras all over and even in the showers. Therefore its up to the participants themselves to decide on whatever. That is why some shower with their underwears on and some dont. Therefore there is no reason or platform to sue big brother because the contestants are aware of cameras, rules and everything. It would be understandable if those were not mentioned and contestants were filmed without their knowledge. All of them know and I guess those who didnt behave clearly couldnt hold themselves and sad enough they have done whatever they did out of their own will.
