Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State on Tuesday explained
the reason behind his surreptitious video recording of the NGF election.
He said, “The video is the only proof that there was an
election. The video was a proof to the world that the election took place.
Amaechi did not plant any video anywhere as being speculated in some quarters.
The video was an amateurish way of proofing that there was
an election.
“We are appealing to our colleagues to allow good reason
to prevail and return to the only NGF that is known to law.”
On why the Amaechi group had refused to call any meeting
after the May 24 election, Fayemi said, “We are not rushing to call a meeting
because we want to bring everybody together. As soon as that is done, we will
call for a meeting,” he explained.

DeleteAt times I find it difficult how some people thinks. Is it that they ddnt go to school at all, or they ddnt allow school to pass through them? or are they educated illetrates? Why on earth will someone call Fayemi a liar for saying the truth? We all watched d video. May be cos Aregbesola's voice was heard wen he was recording his cos he was chellenged by Akpabio. Feyemi recorded it and therez no regret or apology. Mr anonimous be modern in ur alterances because u sound too primitive for this age. U dnt play politics with truth. We all watched it!

ReplyDeleteGood makes the Wisdom of the Wise foolish. Gov. Godswill and his Anti Amechi team had calculated but God recalculated it and gave victory to Gov. Amechi. I want to let you know that amidst the 18 governors there are Governors who are not bold enough and hence I see them as cowards. They know the truth and they voted for Amechi but they cannot come out boldly to say they voted Amechi for "fear of the unknown" We all know how this type of election is conducted (Secret Ballot).
ReplyDeleteNow if you claim that the election is rigged, is this the right way to address an election that is rigged? Have we forgotten the rule of law? Have we forgotten due process? We should NOT allow what happened in 1993 election to happen again in this country. We should have respect for rule of law and allow democracy to reign.
Our so called Governor should stop behaving like children and be matured. Power Belongs to GOD!
