Rolling Dollar Buried In Lagos

Nigeria’s oldest practicing musician and high life music sage, Fatai Olagunju, popularly known as Fatai Rolling Dollar, who passed on Wednesday, was on Thursday, laid to rest at his uncompleted building site in Ikorodu, Lagos State.
The late musician’s final journey began at about 11.00 a.m when his corpse was laid-in-state at his Oko-Oba residence.  
The lying-in state ceremony included the fidau, conducted at his Millennium Estate, Oko-Oba residence, to seek repose for his soul.
At the fidau were Admiral Dele Abiodun, Segun Adewale, Dayo Kujore, Kunle Opio, Islamic scholars, music industry titans, fans and family members.
The burial rites commenced with another fidau by the Imam of Agege and his counterpart from Maya Central Mosque, after which the body was lowered into the grave.
At the graveside were Evangelist Ebenezer Obey, the Oba of Agege, Chief Joseph Odobeatu, Alhaja Aminat, among others.

    1. Sole ke? Na only d feet dem bury? Naija pple, it's so sad dat most of us passed thru secondary school at least. Even if asked to write in our local dialects, we ll still goof!
