Osun Declares Today Public Holiday For MKO

The Osun State government has declared Wednesday (today) a public holiday in commemoration of the annulment of the June 12 1993 election won by Late MKO Abiola.
A statement by the state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Chief Sunday Akere, on Tuesday, said symposia, rallies and a documentary on the life of Abiola would mark the event.
