Airtel/Huwai/Microsoft Unveil New Smart Phone

Nigerians are back on the groove with the launch of the new smart phone Huwai4Africa by Leading global and communications technology company, Hauwei Nigeria.

The first window launch was put together by Microsoft and Nigeria’s foremost gsm network Airtel Nigeria, at an elaborate event at the corporate headquarters of the Company in Lagos today.

The event which also had other stakeholders in the industry was attended by the who is who in the industry.

The Managing Director, Hauwei Nigeria, Tony Liang, said the new device is specifically created for Africa by Microsoft, making it first window smart phone in the world.
He added that it has a visually iconic design and comes in an array of bold colours including blue, red, black and white.

The product which is expected to become the market leader in telephoning in Nigeria is expected to rejuvenate and stimulate the ever growing gsm competition in the country which recently witnessed the launch of the mobile phone portability scheme.

Airtel over the years has been a pioneering organization in the telecom sector of the Nigerian economy which stimulating and user friendly products for every consumer.
