The housing situation in the federal capital territory,Abuja
getting out of hand as most residents now resort to sleeping
in garages meant for cars as accommodation. The rent for a
car garage now ranges from N350,000-N500,000 (Yes ,half a million Naira) in
such areas like Asokoro,Maitaima,Garki,Wuse,Gwarinpa and Kado Estate.CKN
Nigeria exclusive investigation during the week showed that people
now resort to renting garages as an alternative since they cannot
afford comfortable accommodations.Our investigation also showed that
maiguard rooms (security post) is rented out for N300,000
