| The accident scene The management of Dangote Industries have denied the report that its vehicle caused an accident that occured along the Benin Ore road that claimed over 60 lives. The Head ,Corporate Communications ,Dangote Industries Tony Chiejene made this clarification when he spoke with CKN Nigeria last night.According to him,the trailer in question does not belong to the company but a third party who purchased cement from the group.The Ibese written truck according to him though had the Dangote logo but is registered and owned by third parties. According to him, from available report,the accident initially involved a fully loaded fuel tanker and other vehicles.The truck purportedly belonging to Dangote Group actually ran into the accident scene.He said the company totally regretted the loss of lives and pray for the repose of the souls of all those that lost their lives in the accident |
