Some section of the popular Alade market along Allen Avenue Ikeja Lagos was gutted by fire last night.Though the fire was curtailed later but goods worth millions of Naira were lost in the inferno as captured by these CKN Nigeria pictures.As at Press time,no one could give a categorical reason how the fire came about,but someone said,it must have been due to a power surge from PHCN.The place was flooded by owners of shops and sympathizers who tried their best to put it off.The prompt intervention of men of the Lagos State fire service prevented what would have been one of the most disatrious fire in recent time in Nigeria
