The much talked about number portability by telecom
service providers (GSM) in Nigeria will finally take off on next week Monday 22nd
April 2013 according to the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC).
This was disclosed today by the Spokesman of the
NCC,Tony Ojobo while speaking in Lagos.
As from that date, Nigeria GSM subscribers will be able
to switch their network from one gsm company
to another without losing their lines or credits.
But this can only be done once in 90 days and not as
regularly as you desire.
This according to analysts is a wakeup call to all
telecom company to rise to the occasion in terms of services.
