| The Programme That the interview granted Channels Television (Sunrise Daily) by the Commandant of the Lagos State Nigerian Security and Defence CMr Obafaiye Shem has gone virile is no longer news..MY OGA ON TOP saga has become the greatest joke of the year.While it is being rumoured that he has been suspended because of the blunder,the Producer of that particular episode of the programme on the day MY OGA ON TOP featured on Channels Television Sunrise Mr Sulai Aledeh has taken full responsibility for the inciident.Sulai,a newscaster,producer and co anchor of Sunrise Daily had this to say .."As the Producer I take full responsibility (for the Oga On Top saga). The show on the said day was on employment racketeering so we must have a genuine website to stop further exploitation"..CKN Nigeria would ask,Who do we blame,Channels Television or a man that was not prepared for his job? |

ReplyDeleteWell, the entire scene was unfortunate but I believe there are many more who behave in similar manner. GEJ's CNN media gaffe when he was interviewed by Amanpour was a classic one. Patience had her own fair share and I doubt if the national assembly ever thought of even advising them not to talk of suspension. The youth in this country have a lot of work to do!

ReplyDeleteChannels tv presenters shudnt have insisted on a question that was making the man uncomfortable unless they were extra paid to crucify the man in that interview!! The man shud have also been briefed on the question that wud be thrown his way so he won't make a mess of himself!! The commandant also shud av been more knowledgible before granting an interview,now he has become an international star overnight and the greatest comedian of our time!!
ReplyDeleteChamnels TV is has international recognition in news broadcast. We Nigerians question how shem became the commander of NSCDC. Maybe who knows his oga at the top put him there. He should be dismissed.

ReplyDeleteSo many of you speaking here have never graced any interview before inyour life. Let me tell you when I was to present my manifesto as Candidate PRO LASU @ Isolo, although I was well prepared, some questions were beyond me even they were very easy. You know those journalists intentionally planned to disgrace the man. I followed up the interview and this man would have been given time to correct himself. We make mistake and you correct yourselves. Please this man is an officer. So many of us parents can't even say come or go. Please this man is not an illitrate but was only caught unawere.

Why dt bcos of just english language dt some ppl mispresent u'll now take it 2 ridiculed them even 1st lady of nigeria , they used media 2 finished her last year ......this's just general language nigeria choosed 2 interact wt any1 dt doesn't understand ur dialect ......I beg nigerians we need 2 change bcos of this language at least it's just international language dt wn u speak it outside nigeria and they'r sured dt u'r not frm their side, so what theY need frm u is 2 get ur mssgs that u'r passing 2 them so language is not a barrier pls let's 4get it, even I could see a nigeria that travelled 2 south korean if u go there and start speakin english they won't look at ur side, what they want u 2 speak is their language...
