Goldie Autopsy Out, Husband Denied Visa

Official Autopsy reports from the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja have revealed that Goldie Harvey, who died on February 14th 2013, suffered intracerebellar hemorrhage caused by an underlying Hypertensive Heart Disease which resulted to ‘intracerebellar hemorrhage.’
This in turn affected her spinal cord bringing about a severe headache (It should be recalled that we reported that she died screaming of a splitting headache). The autopsy carried out on February 19, 2013, was signed by Dr. O. O. Oyewole of the Department of Pathology and Forensic Medicine.
The burial arrangement for the former Big Brother Africa housemate will be announced by the family. Goldie died on Valentine’s Day shortly after she returned from Los Angeles, USA, where she attended the 55th Grammy Awards.
The release of the autopsy report finally puts paid to all the wild speculations and rumours that have been flying around since the late singer’s death. Some had initially reported that she died of Pulmonary Embolism (a condition which is triggered by long periods of inaction); yet others said she died as a result of drug overdose.
Meanwhile, her husband, Andrew Harvey, may not pay the last respect to his deceased wife due to visa denial by the Nigerian High Commission in London. As at two days ago when Andrew travelled to London to obtain a visa to come to Nigeria to see the remains of Goldie and give her a befitting burial, his application was refused. He is however not relenting in his efforts to obtain the visa to enable him travel to Nigeria by weekend and give his wife a well-deserved farewell.
