Car Rain At David Oyedepo's Winner Chapel (700 Cars Donated By Members)

It was car rain for the Pastor of Winners Chapel Bishop David Oyedepo  during Winners Chapel Cross Over service on Tuesday 1st January 2013 Canaanland, Ota, Ogun state as Worshipers of the church made donations of over 700 exotic cars to the church.
According to an eye witness ,the cars which ranged from Jeeps,SUVs,Cars and other wonders on wheel were donated by People who felt they had been richly blessed in 2012 came to the cross over service with different donations, most significant .
They donated them and later dropped the car keys and documents into the offering boxes.
The church auctioned the cars at very cheap prices to its members. Some cars were sold for as little as N300k while the jeeps went as high as N3m-N4m.
It has not been ascertained how many have been disposed off yet.
But donation of cars and properties has become fashionable in the church as a mark of giving by its members.
Bishop David Oyedepo is in the vanguard of the new generation prosperity preaching that has been emulated by other young protestant pastors in Nigeria

  1. Hmmm religion truely is an opium. How many individuals visit orphanage homes, old peoples homes and hospital to help the helpless? Rather they donate cars to the rich pastors and churches.

Church business is the fastest growing business in Nigeria! People now see their pastors as demi-god who can solve all their problems.Thats y d preach more of prosperity than salvation. RELIGION SHD MAKE US MORE CHRIST-LIKE NOT MONEY MONGERS AS WE SEE IN PENTECOASTAL CHURCHES 2DAY.

    1. I quite agree with you that the real reason for Christ death on the cross is for salvation and I believe when pastors do it the right, prosperity will surely come. Jesus is in the business of blessing his people. I believe that with all my being if of after Peter gave up his boat for Christ to use and Peter obey His command to launch into the deep Peter caught fishes to the point that his nets begin to tear and he asked other fisherman to come and help him bring the net to shore. We serve a great God.

  9. Some of you are just jealous of how God is blessing His pple tru His servants. Even if I'm d one n I've more dan I car I'll give it back 2 God bcos He's d owner of all things for the bible says its more blessed to give than to receive thesame bible said wen we give we'll av all. Pls let's b careful with d way we talk abt men of God b4 our generations go dey sufer wetin dey knw nothing abt. Even b4 d men of God got there let's think of wat dey went tru bcos no successful man made it to d top without challenges bt only d diligent once made it

  16. God help us all because there are some churches that using other powers. But I believe in giving sacrificially and what's done with it is not my cup of tea. I will obey God to give sacrificially because there are blessings that goes with it. Jesus Christ gave Himself up sacrificially and He was counted worthy to seat at the right hand of God. Follow the bible postulation and not man's postulation and it shall be well with you. Amen

  17. There is one thing I don't understand when Jesus Christ said the foxes have home but the son of man does not have a place to lay His head and here are pastors having jet and airplane. With the abject poverty in Nigeria, why can't they use the jet and airplane money to establish people for success lifting people from poverty. The acts of apostle told us that people bring what they have and the apostle share it and give to each accordingly. The equation is not balance in Nigeria churches and the poor still gives out of what they have to enrich the church and the pastors. God bless us. I am a Christian and I believe in doing what Jesus did when He was here on earth. By their fruits ye shall know them. Many churches are competing with each other and the truth has been watered down so brethren open your bible and read it diligently Prayerfully and God will give you insight. And allow the Holy spirit to direct you and not the I feel good syndrome in the church. God bless us all IJMN amen
