The burial programmes of late Nollywood actor, Enebeli Elebuwa who
died in India early last month has been released by the family.
According to the programmes, Enebeli’s final journey will begin
with a candle light procession and Night of Tribute, holding at the celebrity
hangout, O’jez, National Stadium, Surulere, on Wednesday, January 9,
2013. It’s scheduled for 5 pm-9pm.
On Thursday, January 10, there will be Wake keep at
NTA Channel 10 ground, Tejuosho, Yaba, Lagos. The requiem Mass is fixed for
Friday, January 11, at St Micheal’s Catholic Church. Internment follows
immediately at Victoria Court Cemetery, Ajah. unday, Jan. 13.
Thanksgiving Service is scheduled to hold at Micheal’s Catholic Church,
Lafiaji, Lagos.
Enebeli died on December 5, 2012, at the Asian Institute of
Medical Sciences, Fridabad, Haryana, New Delhi, India. His remains arrived the
Muritala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja , on the 15th of December, 2012
and was received by the children and few members of the family.
Elebuwa was well known for the role he played as Andrew in a
campaign by the Federal Government in the 80s to discourage Nigerians from
fleeing the country.
The veteran actor had suffered from several health challenges
which required extensive hospital stays in the country before he was finally
flown to India, courtesy of the Delta State Government. He died on December 5.
