Gov Chime Visits London Hospital Again (2nd In A Week)

Enugu State Governor, Sullivan Chime, who has been out of  the country since September last year on medical grounds, Monday visited No 9 Harley Street Clinic in Central London for medical check-up.
The governor, it was gathered, had been on admission at Wellington Hospital in St. John’s Wood, North West London till late November last year when he was discharged.
However, Monday’s visit was his second routine check-up in seven days.
The clinic is beside Court Bank, Cavendish court, where Queen Elizabeth II and the super rich bank their money.
The governor was at the clinic at lunch time and was billed to be attended by a surgeon, Professor Paul O’Flynn, a renowned ear, nose and throat (ENT) specialist.
Chime alighted from the car in front of the hospital minutes to his appointment with the surgeon.
The governor was accompanied by a lady, though it could not be ascertained if she was his wife, aide or relations.
She was wearing tight black trousers and a white shirt, while the governor was dressed in a pink stripe shirt and black trouser.
With a bottle of water, the governor went straight to the door unguided and pressed the buzzer to alert the receptionist, but quickly told the chauffer who brought him that he will be out in minutes.
It was gathered that Chime was in critical health condition last year when he first came to the hospital.
“When he was first admitted in the hospital, he could hardly utter words with people. But at the moment he seems to have made unbelievable progress and could attend appointments,” the source said on a different occasion.
