Group Accuses INEC Commissioner Mike Igini of Corruption

A group by the name Citizens Against Crime has come out to accuse the INEC Commissioner for Cross River State Mike Igini of living above his means.

Here is their petition

FOR THE KIND ATTENTION OF THE CHAIRMAN, INDEPENDENT CORRUPT PRACTICES OF NIGERIA AND PROF. ATAHIRU JEGA CHAIRMAN INEC. Seems all the information through social media network on how one Mike Igini, the purported INEC Commissioner of Cross River State on how he owns fleet of cars and properties calls for Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC) to put an eagle eye on this Public Office holders who lives above their income. If it is not that Bribery in the public office is getting lucrative, how much does Inec commissioner earns as salary. Professor Jega, this question, "calls for your answer". It is indeed very painful that this man comes to a television talks-shop to speak as a decent man so as to selfishly market himself but Nigerians would not be surprised today to hear or see how Mike Igini owns fleet of cars from M-Benz 320 latest, latest Honda Pilot, Range Rover SUV, latest Toyota Camry with two other cars apart from the official Toyota land-cruiser Jeep given to him by the INEC Commission as an INEC commissioner with other properties worth billions of Naira, owns Oil and Gas company at Ibru jetty, Apapa, Lagos, being managed by his senior brother. We shall soon petition ICPC so as to expose the sudden wealth of this man we knew very well from Law school to INEC commissioner as his first public job. Corruption could not permit competent Nigerians with PhD Holders on Political Science to supervise our elections instead what we do have is over-blurted bureaucracy and inability to use square peg on a square hole. This absolutely shows what he preaches, is never what he practices. This is a pure case of get rich quick syndrome. The most painful of it all was that Corruption now is a culture and seems we have two laws one for the poor and one for the rich. So if you succeeded in making money through kickback, embezzlement, Kidnapping, Drug trafficking, Armed Robbery, Assassinations, Money Laundering, Ritual Killings etc as far as you succeeded then, you have crossed the climax of the law for the poverty level. At the end am happy that death has no notice and when it struck, even the highest monarch must obey.
