Governor Gabriel Suswam of Benue State has described
as critical the condition of his Taraba State counterpart, Danbaba Suntai, who
has been hospitalised in Germany following injuries he sustained in a plane
crash two months ago.
Suswam, who just returned from Germany where he visited Governor Suntai on his hospital bed, made this disclosure yesterday shortly after he took Holy Communion at the NKST Church High Level Makurdi, the state capital.
Suswam called for prayers for divine intervention in the health
difficulties of the Taraba State Governor so that he will recover in a good
time and reunite with his family and the entire people of the state.
The Governor also disclosed that recent reports reaching him have indicated that the Boko Haram sect is after him and called for prayers not only for himself but for the entire Governors of the northern states.
Describing the death of Governor Patrick Yakowa of Kaduna State as shocking and a source of worry to the northern Governor’s Forum, Governor Suswam said it has become clear that no governor is safe
