CKN Exclusive..TB Joshua Predicted Obama's Win

With news reverberating worldwide of Barack Obama’s historic re-election to office following one of the most closely contested election battles in American history, a video released on YouTube hours before results trickled in shows Nigerian Pastor T.B. Joshua had prophesied his historic victory.

The video, released on Joshua’s official YouTube channel, ‘scoanTV’ and his Christian television station, Emmanuel TV, shows him talking about the battle for American Presidency on Sunday 6th May, a time when national polls were still projecting a relatively comfortable victory for Obama. “We should pray for President Obama,” Joshua said. “He should do something quickly on health care because they are going to use this against him. I will not say more than that.  Because I see there will be wrestling. The battle will be very, very close. It’s not advice. It’s what I am seeing on the board. It’s a vision.” Events in ensuing weeks, including a lackluster performance from Obama in the first presidential debate, saw his Republican rival Mitt Romney gain significant ground in public polls. Hot on the Republican agenda was President Obama’s recently imposed health care policy termed ‘Obamacare’, a policy Romney had pledged to repeal if elected to office.

Speaking again on Sunday 4th November, Joshua specified his prayer was for the candidate who would promote peace and work internationally to bring unity. “The battle will be very, very close… Someone who will come out of the two who will be concerned about peace, bring unity and appeal to the nations all over the world and not continue with war – that is what the whole world needs now. That is my prayer. That is prophecy.” Joshua added persistent wars would result in nothing but ‘economic depression’.

During his first tenure as President, Obama’s regime saw the end to America’s involvement in the Iraq war, the death of Taliban leader, Osama bin Laden and the reduction of troops in Afghanistan, with all troops expected to leave by 2014. It was Obama’s predecessor, Republican George W Bush, who engaged America in the two wars, spending a whopping $3.7 trillion and leading to the loss of over 250,000 lives.  Obama’s rhetoric in an inspiring victory speech echoed Prophet Joshua’s prayers: “We want to pass on a country that's safe and respected and admired around the world, a nation that is defended by the strongest military on earth and the best troops this world has ever known. But also a country that moves with confidence beyond this time of war, to shape a peace that is built on the promise of freedom and dignity for every human being.”

In a related incident, Joshua also prophesied on Saturday 3rd May 2012 about a gunmen disrupting Election Day in America, calling for prayers for the nation. “I am seeing an evil man carrying a gun during the time of election, as people are going out to vote. Pray for this country, America. This is an evil man who has the motive to do this during the time of election, to threaten them.” As Americans went out en masse to vote on Tuesday, a man in Fresno, California named Lawrence Jones killed two and injured several more in an unprovoked gun attack at Apple Valley Farms. Lawrence is said to have been recently released from prison and had an extensive criminal history. He died of an apparently self-inflicted wound following the deadly shooting spree.

Prophet T.B. Joshua is well known for his prophetic messages. He is said to have recently prophesied the US Embassy attack in Libya, the deadly shooting at a Batman Premiere in a Colorado cinema as well as Nicolas Sarkozy’s defeat to Socialist Francoise Hollande in the French elections. His television station, Emmanuel TV, is extremely popular across Africa and Joshua has many African political heavyweights and celebrities among his admirers.
