Ada Ndi Igbo 2012 Emerges

Under the watchful eyes of chief Debe Ojukwu ,the Akpunwa of Igboland and Akajioforndigbo Ezeoba Ramas Asuzu  of Nri kingdom, miss ogwueleka Chidalu emerged the 8th most beautiful igbo girl, The Adandiigbo and current Title holder of the prestigious igbo pageant crown in far away Awka .Anambra state . The event which happened at emmaus house Awka by 4 pm was graced by the most important people in the igbo polity and captains of industry , patriotic igbo men and women turned up in their numbers to show solidarity with this huge project that is in its eight year . Some of the people that were visited by the contestants while in camp included the ikenga dr dozie Ikedife ,igwe of awka Eze uzu 11,igwe orizu  of nnewi  , the commander of the Biafran Airforce during the war the women affairs commissioner , the information commissioner the anambra house of Assembly ,etc It should be recalled that this years event  marked the very first emergency session for a Pageant  in the Anambra state House of Assembly. Speaking at an interview the Pageant President Mazi onyechere MacRobinson Anele. Described the contest as a means of returning the lost glory of the culture of the Igbos internationally , as well as, protecting the girlchild which very few organisations seem to care about , what happens to the woman if her teenage years are not protected ,accounted  and cared for? .its not all about women organisations ,the girl child should be protected too.
