Mr. Lere Olayinka, the spokesman of former Ekiti State
Governor, Engr. ‘Segun Oni was earlier today beaten like a notorious criminal
by some men of the Nigerian Police from Ekiti State Police Command over a yet
to be confirmed offence. An unconfirmed report has it that the Oke-Imesi born
social critic was arrested at the Olaoluwa Grammar School, Ado-Ekiti’s venue of
Teachers’ Development Needs Assessment (TDNA) while searching for
information as a Journalist.
Another report also has it that the PDP Chieftain was
quizzed at a Restaurant in Ado-Ekiti. But all i can say for now is that no arm
was found in the possession of Mr. Lere Olayinka when he was arrested.
