Decomposing Body Of Kidnapped Lebanese Found In Rivers State

 


The decomposing corpse of a kidnapped expatriate employee of JMS Construction firm was, on Tuesday morning, discovered in a bush between Omuawa and Ubima in Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State.
Nigerian Tribune gathered that the construction worker, whose full identity could not be ascertained as at the time of filing this report, was abducted about three weeks ago while at work on a site on Azuaha Road.
According to community sources, the body of the Lebanese was discovered by women who were searching for edible leaves in the bush where his corpse was dumped.
When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer of the Rivers State police command, Ben Ugwuegbulam (DSP), confirmed the development, adding that the command had commenced investigation into the matter.
