Breaking News:Fuel Queues Resurface In Abuja Today

Fuel scarcity is rearing its head again in Nigeria's capital Abuja. I have seen long queues at filling stations in the city. CKN Nigeria Preliminary investigation revealed that it may soon spread across the country as only one marketer is importing Premium motor Spirit into the country. The latest scarcity is coming barely one week after NUPENG suspended its strike which had crippled the nation's capital for weeks. This latest scarcity is however not about a strike by any union..
The long queues at filling stations in Abj have been attributed to unwillingness of marketers to import petroleum products.Accordind to NUPENG both Independent and Major Marketers have not imported these products for fear of getting their subsidy claims after importations. As at the moment only Oando is said to be importing petroleum products, not even NNPC...CKN
