The Federal Road Safety Commission FRSC said today that
it has concluded plans to block the flooded Abuja Lokoja road that has been
taken over by River Niger waters.
In a statement pushed out by the Sector commander of
the FRSC, Rivers State Dr Kayode Olagunju through his social media page,the
closure is to avoid an unprecedented calamity that may affect travellers on the
route as the water level has reached an intolerable stage..
He called on all motorists to take alternative routes
for their journey.
It would be recalled that CKN Nigeria crew yesterday

was on an assessment tour of the site with two of his fellow honourables from
