If there is anyone who will like to see all music videos
produced by the CEO Marvin Records Don Jazzy banned from our television stations,
its diminutive pop gospel star Kenny St Best (KSB).
The younger sister of CEO Kennis Music,Kennis TV
Channel and Prmetime Africa, Kenny Ogungbe is not happy with the type of videos
being produced by multi award winning
Producer and former CEO of Mo’hits records.
Her reasons are not farfetched if one takes into
consideration into the rate of rapes and killings of innocent girls which has
been on the increase in recent days.
In a one on one chat she had with CKN Nigeria before
she jetted out to London last night,KSB accused Don Jazzy of pioneering the use
of half-naked ladies into Music videos in Nigeria while at Mo’hits.
She said while many thought Don Jazzy would
dropped the unprofessional practice with
his exit from Mo’hits, his latest video of Wande Coal “GO LOW” released by Marvin Records featuring
an almost naked lady dancer (Seen in pic) is promoting more damage than good.
She also condemned other dirty seductive lyrics by some
Nigerian artistes such as “Dadubule” etc
which according to her encourages
immorality and rape.
She laid all the blames on the door step of the
National Broadcasting Commission which she accused of being responsive to their
responsibilities.
According to her, if the trend is not checked, Nigerian
ladies will continue to be an endangered species.
She warns Don Jazzy to desist from such unholy behavior
in order not to incur the wrath of God.
When asked of her mission abroad, the songstress said
she is going on playing tours and to promote her new work which is already
making waves on radio and television across Africa…CKN
if she spends this much tym on her music rather than advising others, she would have been a better artiste. remove the dirt in your own eyes before you do for others. mmmsscchheeewww!
