The Wuse General Hospital in the Federal Capital Territory Abuja got more than it bargained for on Thursday 8th August 2012 at about 8.30pm when it refused to accept the corpses of a mother and her baby girl who were killed by a hit and run driver in Abuja.The duo who were crossing the road at Sani Abacha Expressway Wuse 11 Abuja were knocked down by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene of the accident leaving the two people dead.When the FRSC and Police finally took the corpses to General Hospital Wuse 11 to be kept in the morgue pending when they will be identified and handed over to their relations,the hospital refused to accept the corpse even after much pleadings.This act infuriated the two agencies which had to use their vehicles to barricade the entrance of the hospital before they were eventually accepted by the hospital management..
