People Still Trapped In Their Offices 48 Hrs After Clashes Started In Yobe State

48 hours after the deadly attacks launched by Islamic group Boko Haram in Damaturu ,Yobe State capital,report reaching CKN Nigeria indicates that several people were still trapped in their various offices and have not been able to make their way home due to the 24 hours curfew still in place in the state..The clashes which took many people by surprised during the day saw security agents battling the sect for hours.In order not to be caught in the cross fire,most people had to remain in their offices like banks,eateries,hotels and many other offices...Some of them are running out of food and water..Our lines have been jam packed with calls,text messages and blackberry from those trapped in their various offices..The Yobe State Commissioner of Police in a conversation with our correspondent said efforts are been made to escort most of them back to their various homes..CKN
