Polytechnic, Dr Aliyu Mamah, yesterday said that a student was killed outside
the school campus on Tuesday afternoon in Ungwan Sanusi,Tudun Wada.
According to him, the student was allegedly killed on his way to
the campus, following the relaxation of the 24-hour curfew slammed on the state
by the government.
In a telephone interview yesterday, Mamah
said: “No violence on Kaduna polytechnic, the information I got was that on
Tuesday, a student was reportedly killed in Ungwan Sanusi Road, on his way to
school when the state government relaxed curfew on that day. Students are
peacefully on campuses without any problem.”
The slain Higher National Diploma (HND) 11 student was simply
identified by his colleagues as Felix.
