...Grief-stricken Ndako weds despite sister, Maimuna, in-law, mother, niece’s death
Ndako, brother to Maimuna Anyene, who died with her four kids, husband, mother and other relatives got married, despite the ac-cident that claimed his sister last Sunday. The odd develop-ment is even stranger as the family which died had come to Nigeria to attend that wedding. Nine members of the family died in the Dana Air crash.
Ndako went ahead with his wedding to Halima at The Incubator, on Victoria Island, Lagos barely a week after their death.
The invitation message to the wedding read: “Please join us on Saturday, 9th June as we hold prayers for our family members who have been called back to God. The prayers would hold at the Incubator (near Four Points) Victoria Island, Lagos at 9am. The Fatiha for Halima and Ndako would hold by 11am at Number 10, Mayaki Usman Street, off Wole Ariyo Street, Lekki Phase 1 (re-freshments would be at the Incubator afterwards). May God reward you for your love and support. Thank you”.
Daughter of Professor Ndanusa Mijindadi of Ah-madu Bello University, Maimuna, attended primary school in Zaria and com-pleted secondary education at Queens College, Lagos. She proceeded to the University of Ibadan (UI) where she studied Economics, gradu-ating in 2001 with a second-class (upper) degree.
Despite being a Muslim, she married a Christian, Onyeka Anyene, a lawyer who has offices in Abuja and Lagos. The Anyenes had four children: Kamsi (two years old), twins Kayna and Kayne (one-year-old), and Kamal, also known as Noah (seven-month-old), who all died in the crash.
A source disclosed that they had travelled to Nigeria to visit with her husband, who lived mostly in Nigeria. “She also came to attend the wedding of her younger brother, Ndako, scheduled to take place in about a week’s time – on June 9,” (yesterday)
You know what?????
ReplyDeleteBlogging is not your calling, you're never gonna make it.
Absolutely hate the way you've got onto the back of this family, crawl back to the hole you came from.
I just get sick at Nigerians. HE WHO IS WITHOUT SIN LET HIM BE THE FIRST TO CAST STONES!!!- Selah
ReplyDeleteWhatever the family chooses to do is SOLELY their business and not to be discussed by the world (particularly a family who is grieving).
You are so insensitive, I cannot imagine what type of stupid human being you are to sit down and write this load of BULLSHIT when it is very obvious from the pic you so clearly displayed that the family is still in mourning!!!
ReplyDeleteHow do you think Ndako will take seeing this piece of crap you wrote while still dealing with the loss of 9 family members as you also clearly wrote?
There is a line between blogging/news and senselessness. This, my dear is deep in the SENSELESS category. Did you think how hard it was for them to still go on with the wedding? MAY GOD FORGIVE YOU AND MAKE SURE YOU ARE NEVER FACED WITH SUCH A HORRIBLE SITUATION, AND SOME HALF-BAKED WANNA-BE BLOGGER DOESN'T CARRY A SILLY STORY ON YOU. Nonesense!
Highly uncharitable!
ReplyDeleteis that what you feel? Do you know anything about this family?
Do you know what they are going through at this moment.
Obviously, an ignorant, low life illiterate whose
brain is no more that a birds will think like this.
Anyone like you who uses this boys situation as a tool for cheap publicity or who critises or judges him for this situation will surely face the Lords wrath...
The blogger is absolutely right. This wedding should not have gone ahead until the dead are buried. Those abusing the blogger are probably the brides friend and family.
ReplyDeleteYou guys abusing the blogger are the only low-life I can see here.
