Job Title: Business Development Officer (Leasing)
Location: Lagos
Job Summary:
To ensure that business strategies and policies are developed
for specific target markets to enable the organization achieve its objectives;
and continuously provide input and support towards improving organizational
performance.
Responsibilities:
·
Drive business development and expansion for the assigned market
·
Manage existing market share as assigned and source new clients
·
Provide a superior level of customer relations and service
monitoring; maintain and develop close support between the clientele and the
organization in all aspects of the business and ensure timely and efficient
service delivery to customers
·
Advise clients of appropriate covers for line of business within
assigned market
·
Ensure renewals of business and adequate documentation
·
Prepare weekly report of activities
·
Assist and perform other duties relevant to the post and as may
be assigned from time to time
·
Support with office administrative and marketing functions
within the Unit
·
Provide support and drive initiatives for Business Development
to ensure that effective policies, strategies, service plans and marketing
procedures are developed.
·
To research and provide input into the group reports
·
Continually improve knowledge of all Cornerstone products
·
Undertake professional development through participation in
training to meet the changing demands of the business development role if need
be.
·
Update regularly knowledge of the company’s business, products
and services
Qualifications and Requirements:
·
Minimum five years relevant experience
·
Must have managed a Large credit portfolio in the financial
services sector
·
Proven track record in business development and marketing
·
Good administrative, organizational and planning skills
·
Proficiency in MS Office Suite
·
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·
Bachelor’s Degree/Higher National Diploma in Business
administration and/or social sciences
·
A higher degree would be an added advantage
