Police Finally Arrest 8 Ogun Traffic Officers Who Killed A Traffic Offender

FOR allegedly beating a security officer, Mr Samuel Adole, to death in Abeokuta, Ogun State, on Wednesday, eight officers of the state Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE) have been arrested by the state police command.
Those arrested had been detained for interrogation at the state police command, Eleweran, Abeokuta.
The 36-year-old father of two was alleged to have been stabbed to death, for daring to ride on a 2.4 kilometre road yet to be commissioned by the state government.
Nigerian Tribune learnt that an autopsy had been ordered by the family, following the denial of the suspects that they were not responsible for Adole’s death.
The result of the autopsy, it was gathered, would be made public in the next 48 hours.
The command’s Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Muyiwa Adejobi, confirmed the development, adding that investigations into the matter were still ongoing
