I just used an ATM in one of the banks in Abuja now,the ATM charged me but refused to dispense my money..Has it ever happened to you before..Will this Sanusi experiment ever work?..CKN

- Deji Babs Its happened to me once with my own bank and once again with another bank. For my bank it took just 24hrs and that is GTB. With the other bank (Intercontinental bank now Ecobank) it took 2weeks.

- Nene Sterling-Ls It happened to me the day before I was to leave Nigeria, and on a weekend. The so called customer services number was not functioning. I'm not sure exactly what happened, all I know is that I tried twice and no money came out. I now had to rely on receiving my electronic statement to assess the damage......my sweet Nigeria

- Adebimpe Adenowo Uthman It happened to me as well. On the island, the intercontinental bank in obalende, it's a real shame. My money was refunded after 4 days. I think banking in Nigeria needs to be looked at. Banking has been in Nigeria since 1819 or there about, if since then banking is this like this, I don't know what else will happen, there is situation I paid some money into an account it took the so called bank 72 hours to post it. It is a real shame and very disgraceful.

- Obayemi Kemie Lucee Adebija I had that experience in sokoto in 2008! I got to kaduna before I realised on the 3rd day through the receipt which thankfully I hadn't sqeezed for the bin, I couldn't go back, My husband helped me to rectify it after a week but when it happened to him it took him months to get his money back.it has put him off ATM.

- Tunji Oketunbi No be only you o. Two ATMs in Abuja and Lagos did same to me. You will go to your bank and fill a form and maybe after two weeks it will be reversed. But check your balance or statement to confirm it had not reversed it automatically. This is a challenge to cashless regime especially to the poor whose last cash may trapped for weeks in the name of ATM not dispensing.

D most annoyn part of it is when dat's d last amount u av in d a/c, vry annoyn!
