    • Eze Onyemaechi In dire need of rehabilitation.
    • George Elijah Otumu My friend, Black 'o' Rice over to you because i know that you and Majek Fashek are so close. Is this the position and true state of Majek now?
    • Babatunde Ogala Why did Majek do this to himself? He embarked on the journey of self destruction and has done well on it. Its a shame that this highly talented guy single handedly destroyed himself.
      Thursday at 9:55am ·  ·  1
    • Bayo Egunlae Is this old age or deterioration of health?
    • Ajaloko Izzi what is this God have mercy .................is this the man Majek faske i know?

    • Victor Adefila Hmmm..............I hope Nigerians and her government will not let this man's case be like another late RASHEED YEKINI.......,,,,,,,,,,

    • Fidelis Ejimofor Enwemeka What is Majek suffering from? May God stretch out his healing hands on him.
    • Ike Eseka Victor, your statement also includes you
    • Moses Osawe Can't stop tears rolling down my cheeks. WHERE IS PMAN? WHERE IS EDO STATE? WHERE IS NIGERIA?
    • Olayemi Olukoju Akanmode This is the time to come together & do something about Majek, pls don't let's wait till he dies.
    • Chuks Nwanne Jesus Christ! Is this the rainmaker?
    • Kachi Amuneke Even if he embarked on self destruction, MUST we watch him die?
    • Chris Kehinde Nwandu Ckn My brothers and sisters...for months now i have been canvassing for an immediate solution to Majek's problem but those close to him are not making it easier ..I believe there is a deliberate attempt to let this legend die..God forbid
      Thursday at 10:20am ·  ·  1
    • Ike Eseka Even though I agree that the man should be rehabilitated, the issue still remains that he wasnt self disciplined. Why did he start taking drugs? Now we r saying, where is PMan, where is Edo state etc? Our artistes should learn from this, PMAN can establish counselling centres for its members on issues like these. Note however, that most of the artistes would refuse such. He laid his bed, he shd lie on it. Its not that he was genuinely ill, the way I see it, he caused it all on himself by taking hemp, etc. Anyway, all that being said, I still believe that he should be helped

    • Femi Lawal the guy needs help..he s a crack junkie..if he dies tomorrow people will be blasting send down the rain all over facebook..and encomiums..but no one cares now..
      Thursday at 10:25am ·  ·  1
    • Kachi Amuneke ‎@ESEKA, you are on point, but all artistes are not the same considering their genre of music. Though hemp is synonymous with raggae music, but Majek went to the extreme. PLEASE, don't delete your forgiving spirit, tender mercy.
    • Taiwo David How can you help a drug addict? I know the pray of every will definitely help, just keep praying for him....... But if he need medical attention CKN pls let's know .....
    • Emeka Oparah I am aware of several steps taken by friends and family and Gov. Adams Oshiomole, which Majek rejected. Very sad indeed. Several years ago, Lagbaja invited him to come perform at Motherlan' and it nearly turned into a disaster, because after one song, he "went kolo" and started yelling obscenities and even attempted to strip on stage. My wife shed tears that night because she fell in love with the guy and his great music, what with my ceaseless jamming of his songs at home and in the car. He's the greatest musician ever in Nigeria, after Fela. Sadly, he wasted his talent and now his life is on tenterhooks.

    • Martins Babatimilehin It never happen like dis to the first prophet rainmaker like Elijah. Then Majek should be exam either true or false prophet
    • Chris Kehinde Nwandu Ckn Emeka, spot on..I didn't know u were at that show..I just spoke to Lagbaja now..its sad indeed
    • Bayo Olunla Adeoye some of his friends and loved ones are rallying round to help him out of this situation. He had just been given a free accommodation in Gowon Estate, Egbeda, Lagos.
    • Otunba Khamileon Is there anything that can be done now by us his close fans? Raise cash? put him in a rehab center? Like you said CKN I just dont want him to die...is there anything that can really be done? Can you spearhead or come out with something? Sorry that I am putting this on you and just rambling on, words cannot explain how much I love this guy! He is one of the kindest people I ever knew (Back in the days) Please Help Somebody!!!!
    • Vicky Omo Jesu men u thk say Akure people no swear 4 dis my friend so

    • Martins Babatimilehin Majek problem is established long ago it is not now. People are only looking at periphery of his plight.
    • Art Igweike Lord have mercy, this man is a ghost image of himself now. May God help him.
    • Azuka Jebose CKN my brother, Within d past eight yrs, Bn privileged to hv aprofound relationship wt Majek. Alongside Charles Noviah, Ras Kimono, Amos and Rice, we tried to rehab this grt human. Nobody can help Majek. The only person that can help Majek is Majek. If u go to him now and tell him u wAnt to help, he wld abuse u, tell u he doesnt need help. Last month we agreed to meet in my Lekki office. I was gonna pick him up, but he disappeared on me. I am honestly waitng for a call bout his demise. This is reality. We need to get over this blame game and sentiments. None of us want to see him roaming d streets. He is sick. His liver is shutging down from alcoholism. I am writing my experiences wt this special human titled MAJEK: TEARS OF THE RAIN. U wld understand our sad life wt managing and protecting him. If u doubt me find him and tell him u want to provide him wt help and watch his reaction. From late Sonny Okosuns to Kris Okotie and Cjarly Boy, Tony Okoroji....all these guys tried to save him but he is still in denial. Me am preparing for his untimely sad end. Am being realistic cos I know him well. Continue to pray for him.
    • Chris Kehinde Nwandu Ckn Azuka my broda,Kunle Onime and I just spoke about u this morning about Majek because I know how very very close u are to him..I also remembered u trying to mobilise all of us some months back..ur testimony is a sad one..I am still dazed
    • Azuka Jebose charles noviah, laraowoeye of AIT, Efeh and I tried to put togeda a Legends appreciation for him. When I told Majek, he disappeared from me after yelling:" Jebose, I dnt need help. Na business I need. I dnt need anyones money. I need business"., he is out hanging wt those who dnt understand him... Those he cld mamipulate wt his condition. He needs help. The world is dying to help and rehabilitate him, but he is not willing and able to recognize that. Like Charly Boy once said to me:"Majek is gone too far". Even my mother b4 she was paralysed by stroke once asked me to bring Majek to Onicha Ugbo so she wld care for him. Its hard writing the book without tear drops but I hv to do that. I am waiting for Majek to get out of denial and face reality. My brother dnt b dazed. If u approach him now he wld accuse you of trying to steal from him, or steal his music.
    • Silo Emem Bankole this man should be tied up and looked after by the government pleease he is literally withering away
      Thursday at 1:19pm ·  ·  2
    • Pastor Yomi Ogbaro Let him see a naturaphatologist, God will help him
    • Azuka Jebose Silo thats cruel and unusual punishment...its inhuman to suggest u tie up a sick decent man. Has he harmed you? Pls lets becareful with our emotional reactions here. Lets not diagnose from a distance and unprofessionally. Forcing Majek into a treatment for alcoholism or any disease wld achieve nothing. Force wld further allienate him. We all do care for him, but he must care for himself.... We must also not judge his actions that led him here. This is not the time for blaming or calling him names or silly assumptions that he is a junky that needed to stay away from drugs. Its beyond that now. Why beat a man when he is already down.
    • Samuel Temidayo Adanlawo Only God can revive him @ this stage now bcos drugs&occultism had eaten deep into him.let all these our new generation artistes allegedly romancing occultism through the so called ILLUMINATI now have a rethink.
    • Olufem Kareem Only God can do wonder in his life.Majek is gone already.
    • Biodun Caston-dada oga CKN u dey fall my hands at times sha, which one be Lord have Mercy? shey na Mercy God go have abi MAJEK? na wa ooooo
    • Seyi Odewale Does this man have relatives? Can't something be done to rehabilitate him? This man is far gone, I pray he's not going to waste away like those before him?
    • Bolaji Adebiyi What a waste!
    • Afolabi Abiodun Lord have mercy, really God this guy need hlep
    • Sola Fanawopo Come and see America wonders....come and see drugs wonder
    • Afolabi Abiodun it really drugs wonder
    • Akinlolu Ero-Phillips Lord have mercy on him!
    • Bridget Oyedele Once a very handsome man! What a waste!
    • Otunba Oba Judah Hmmmmmm! sad.
    • Rotimi Durojaiye Can this be the Majek Fashek we all knew? God have mercy o!

    • Tope Babalola · Friends with Alice Akale and 39 others
Majek Fashek, why? One of d best show men in Africa degenerating into this scarecrow? Something must be done fast 2 salvage this horrible situation. God forbid, if this man passes on today our self-centred leaders and we their bad followers will start paying tribute in droves. It would even not be strange for 2 state governors to be bickering over his state of origin "Majek is from my state! No he is not from ur state, He is from my state" . Every one will try 2 outshine one another in our tributes "Majek, d best reggae artiste of d 20th century" , "D best guiterist produced by Africa" etc. But when he needed our help, were we there for him? One thing is clear, if we have d will, this man can still be saved from this self inflicted slide into d bottomless pit! LET US ACT NOW , LET US SAVE MAJEK !

    • Kunle Awosusi May the Lord Send Down The Rain on this poor soul...
    • Feyisetan Tajudeen Sobogun Really begs for serious Rehabilitation. His decline was on real roller coaster. VERY STEEP. How did he get to this point?
    • Abiodun Popoola · Friends with Kunle Adewale
Bros what can Nigerians do to save the dying Majek?
    • Twice I went to watch Majek perform, twice it rained as soon as he began to sing 'Send down the rain'. Those experiences further the mystique around him then. Then one day he came by our office then, The African Guardian, to visit our editor Nduka Irabor. We shook hands. No, sorry, he shooked my hands. I was transported to cloud nine. Such was the extent to which many including me, held Majek. And then we lost him... save for his shell. It saddens.
    • Wat a sorry sight. He depicts d pix of a helpless chicken caught up in a heavy downpour or worst stil, a derranged person. Wat a shame. Dis is as a result of self-inflicted habit. Majek, 'obö'. 4 a fortune, i can neva go near drugs. God forbid!!!
    • Ndidi Azikiwe But CKN my question is what is he doing in Nigeria??? He has been living in Brooklyn,New York for years now so how did he get back to Nigeria??
    • Aaah! Nigeria should rehabilitate this great guy immediately and not wait until he passes on in this condition.
    • Lord have mercy!!!!!!
    • Ajewole Ojo Davies Good attempt and great effort to help Majek, he yells, abuse and think you want to steal from him, those are the things to expect from him because of his present circumstance, the man has gone far, please what can we do to help him?
    • Alistair Soyode Hello all - pls pls pls i begging you guys to help me. Nigeria must arise. Pls register at www.nigeriaarise.com. Majek Faskek Latest....Lord Have Mercy...CKN

    • Roy Bernard As much as I agree with you especially this guy being somebody I had known at Tabansi Recording studio during my music days. He is very different different from what and how he use to look.

Please let us have detail of the arrangement. Probably we could make some useful input as well. Pls let us act and fast.
      Thank you, and most grateful.
    • Roy Bernard Thanks to every one that have mad one effort or the other to assist a brother in need.

At this point and because we have made up our mind to help him we must allow our love build on the Holy Spirit to dominate and suppress the sense knowledge we may have for and of him.
On the day of judgement God will be more and solely concerned with how we utilized the SPIRIT essence He imparted in us which has made us new creation in Christ Jesus.
The forces that rule most people is the force of self preservation; but we are ruled with the force of love for others first before our own self.
Once again thank you. Let us go out there to show love one to another. Love does not complain. Love does not think of how hard we may have tried to help somebody. With prayer to God Almighty through Jesus Christ, love will rule over evil at last!
    • Adekunle Awoyemi · Friends with Dele Esan and 12 others
‎@Ndidi dat wot Amenrica turn Majek to.
    • Foluso Ogunmodede What is the industry doing to bring this our own legend back to life? Ditto the late RasheedYekini when the PUNCH NEWSPAPER published a story on his precarious situation, no help came until he passed away.. avalanche of encomia flowed from those who were in a position to rescue.. what a nation?
    • Azuka: you know what they say that someone whose teeths are smelling will be the last to know. Majek is not in his right senses and that is why he does not appreciate that you guys are trying to help him. That s the more reason you guys should not relent. I strongly suggest that you meet with any member of his family who can authorise rehabilitation and go ahead with it even if you have to shackle him. When he is cured and comes to, he will appreciate you for your help. Do not let his attitude turn you off if you truly are his friend.
    • Chris Kehinde Nwandu Ckn Osaro,u speak the words of a wiseman..I appreciate u
    • Ebonychi Adiri Na die majek dey so..........oh!
    • Azuh Arinze Majek Fashek must not die. He needs our help and very fast too.
    • Chris Kehinde Nwandu Ckn Azu,God help us
    • Paul Ade Osijo When he dies Okoroji and PMEAN shall rise to raise millions for him - and slaughter cows in his name. Why can't they come to his aid now?

    • Segun Olatunji PLEASE, looking at this once african hero, you will know that he's not in his right state of mind. All his friend should rally round him and make decisions for him right now. He cannot make any good decisions for himself pertaining to his health and well being. He's not seing the mirror. Even though it looks as if its too late, i believe something can still be done than when he finally dies and they will take his casket to stadium for people to see, no one want to see that pls. Family, Friends and loved one should act now...
      15 hours ago ·  ·  1
    • CKN and Azuka, please do more. I concur with Segun's view above. Nigerians are looking up to u. Please?
    • Papa Tee ‎@ CKN My brother, if only the present generation of artistes would see their own message in all of this, you would have achieved so much. We all spend so much time on Majek's issue, failing to see that there are more divine messages for us in different individual dimensions. I'm sure you'd understand.
