Five days after running away from home,its still a mystery as to why the daughter of popular journalist Muyiwa Akintunde has decided not to return back home.The young lady has brought tears,sorrow and blood to the eyes of the once lovely knitted family..Just as we break the news some days back,report reaching us from the family has it that she has refused to pick anyone’s call neither did she deem it fit to call herself..This was the message sent out by her father again on the plight of this beautiful lady “Adetutu isn't back home yet but contacts have been established with her. Before she switched off her phone, she told her mother in the evening of the day she absconded that her primary reason for fleeing from home was my asking why she was still at home by 8:55am when she was to have been at her mother's business place 25 minutes earlier! In the one week she has been the only one with me at home, she had manifested the traits her mother had always complained about - forgetfulness and laziness. And I have had asked her how long it would take her to grow up. She would not tell her mother where she has decided to make her new home.Yesterday evening she sent a text message to her older sister that she was OK where she was. She again would not say where her Paradise is. And yet again switched off her phone.None of her friends has been able to give us a lead.My wife and Adetutu's siblings can't thank you enough for your outpouring of spirit-lifting messages, prayers, calls, etc. We pray that you shall not go through any form of emotional trauma, we also continue to pray that Adetutu would sooner than later share our dream which is for her to have sound education and a good life which our little effort can provide for her, her older brother and sisters who all can't understand why she has chosen this destructive path.We shall not give up in trying to locate her.
