Report coming in said that Nigeria's foremost footballer, Rashidi Yekini, died this evening.

According to the report, the Kwara State born footballer who scored Nigeria's first goal at the senior world cup died of an undisclosed ailment.

He was Nigeria's highest goal scorer in the national team for years and played for local and international teams before retiring.
