Popular Voice Of America African Service Talkshow Host Shaka Ssali Dies At 71


 

The long-time host of ‘Straight Talk Africa’ on Voice of America, Shaka Ssali has passed away at the age of 71.

The Ace Journalist worked with various newspapers in Uganda, before he became the face of the Famous ‘Straight talk Africa’ for over two decades.

Ssali was known for engaging African Leaders, Analyst, and citizens in critical discussions on democracy, governance and Development.

His insightful interviews and unwavering commitment to press freedom earned him widespread respect across Africa and beyond.
