In a sweeping crackdown on crime, the Lagos State Police Command has arrested a suspected car snatcher, two bankers, and 23 other individuals linked to various criminal activities across the state.
According to Commissioner of Police Adegoke Fayoade, the arrests were made as part of intensified efforts to curb crime in Lagos. The two bankers were taken into custody for their alleged involvement in financial fraud, while other suspects were apprehended for offenses including armed robbery, cultism, and internet fraud.
Authorities confirmed the recovery of stolen vehicles, firearms, and fraudulent documents during the operation. The suspects are currently under investigation and will face legal proceedings upon completion of due process.
The Lagos Police Command reiterated its commitment to maintaining law and order, urging residents to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities.
